PV fans spoiled?

I talked about his last year, and I must bring it up again. What is wrong with the fans at PV? Do you suddenly become unable to use your vocal cods when you walk in the gate at a game? This has never been more evident then at the Brethitt game. During the opening drive, the park sounded as if one of the kids got hurt on the field and everyone there was holding their collective breath. I swear it sounded as if the only people cheering were me and Chris Kelly. Whats the deal? Are you afraid someones going to laugh at you if you cheer? No wonder the kids can't get fred up during a game. When they look up and see the fans not supporting them, why should they care. I mean the assistant coaches are on the sidelines BEGGING people to cheer. The cheerleaders ran down the sidelines holding up signs yelling, "GET UP".....with the result of about 10 people standing to cheer. For once, look at the other sideline, or at Chris Kelly, and see what a true fan is suppose to be!
Ok, I know this subject is gonna bring out the "PV people are so stuck up" crap from all the other schools fans. Well, you don't have to tell me, I'm starting to believe it myself. But, there are still a few of us that can get up and cheer!

I can dig that...I sat on PV's side, rooting for Breathitt, and I was cheering louder than most PV fans around me.

I refuse to sit in the stands at a PV game! I feel like I'm at a funeral. You can always find me at the fenceline yelling, where your "true" fans are, the ones that don't come to the game just so they can be seen! PV suffers from the same affliction as Tennessee. Too many old people in the stands who see the game more as a social affair.

I tried to sit in the home stands at PV once. I was there covering the GC/PV game for VaPreps and the press box was full. Tons of empty seats everywhere (about 45 minutes before gametime), I picked one under the press box and sat down. In five minutes time I had no less than three people tell me I couldn't sit there. Ended up watching the game from the PV sideline.

Still no answer to my question, WTF is wrong with you people who sit there and don't cheer for your Vikes? Like stated above, its like being at a funeral. It always seems that Chris ends up sitting right behind me, and we are the only two within earshot that dont mind to get up and support the team.
Seems like the only time the fans can stand or speak is when there is a big bomb for a TD or some outstanding play. What you not-cheering fools don;t understand is, the team is listening for you to get them up when they are having a hard time. Comeon folks, get in the game!
